Network Solutions has responded to my inquiries emailed me the following:
“I spoke to our advertising director about our banner ads popping up on sites that pirate films. She asked our ad buying vendor to block the pirating site you mentioned. In addition, she asked our vendor to block video blogging and video sharing sites on the ad networks they submit our banners to. We are hopeful this will help stop our ads from appearing on these types of sites.”
- Network Solutions has told me they are working with their advertising agency to prevent ads like those below from appearing on pirate sites in the future.
